Domiciliary Care

If you have ever felt like you could use some extra support at home to continue living independently, domiciliary care can help. Care In Our Hearts will provide a tailor made service to provide support to people living in their own homes who require additional support with day-to-day life.

At Care In Our Hearts, we have provided high-quality care at home. We currently provide domiciliary care in Greater Manchester, where our professional domiciliary carers can visit your home to provide practical assistance with everyday tasks. From light housekeeping to personal care or preparing and cooking meals. Our carers will support you with any activity that allows you to maintain your independence and quality of life.

Who is domiciliary care for?

Domiciliary care is for anyone who wishes to stay in the comfort of their own home and receive the care and support they need to lead an independent life. This could be support from as little as preparing meals and drinks, medication support, personal care right up to palliative care.

Domiciliary care can also benefit family members who are caring for a loved one at home. Providing care can be emotionally and physically challenging. Domiciliary care can provide respite and support for family caregivers. This allows them to take a break and look after their own health and well-being.

Services

Palliative Care

Care In Our Hearts can offer specialised palliative care and personalised support for people with life-limiting illness, their family and friends. The focus of palliative care is to enable you to have a good quality of life based around your choices and wishes, whilst remaining as independent and active as possible. Palliative care involves managing physical symptoms, such as pain and providing emotional, spiritual and psychological support. A life-limiting illness is one that cannot be cured and can include illnesses like advanced cancer, motor neuron disease (MND) and advanced stage dementia.

Care In Our Hearts recognises the importance of empathy, compassion and a person centred approach while delivering care. We highlight that beyond medical treatment our human compassion and understanding will significantly impact on the individuals and families wellbeing.

About us

The founding of Care In Our Hearts

Care In Our Hearts was founded by Steffan Golds, who drew inspiration from his 15 years of experience working in various roles within the care sector, ranging from carer to regional manager. Steffan's journey fuelled his passion for delivering high-quality care that he believes every individual deserves, while also ensuring that staff receive the recognition and support they need.

Recognising that many in the industry faced similar challenges in achieving these standards, Steffan took the initiative to create Care In Our Hearts. As the first CEO, he established the organisation with the vision of providing exceptional care not just to clients, but also fostering a supportive environment for staff. The company's first office was opened in Greater Manchester.

Steffan's ambition is to enhance standards within the home care sector, promote professionalism, and act as a leader in the industry—all while ensuring that staff are appreciated and valued for their hard work and dedication.
